Day Personal Clinic
Spend a long weekend taking the fundamentals of Natural Horsemanship to
the saddle
Due to Julia's varied background training horses, she has been able to
assist each individual student with their specific needs, and to work
with the learning they are pursuing at home. The main focus of the
clinic is not to teach Julia's specific methods, but to use those
methods to help the student get a better understanding of horse
psychology and how it ties into all riding methods.
|
During the clinic we will use the principles of
Natural Horsemanship to take you to the next level in your riding.
We will ride constantly, and the sheer amount of time in the saddle
will break loose some of the key road blocks standing in your way.
You will learn the basics of communication, both in the saddle and out
of it, which will lay the ground work for better understanding between
horse and rider, and pave the way for you to truly be your horse's
trusted leader.
Format of the Clinic
Every morning we will ride on trails. The way your horse's body deals
with the ups and downs of the terrain provides an irreplacable teaching
opportunity. I will be able to clearly and concisely teach you how to
ride as one with your horse. |

Each
afternoon we will go to
the arena to learn how to use Pressure and Release in your training
process. We will apply the principles learned in the morning to the
afternoon, giving you and opportunity to either rebuild your riding
from the ground up or to advance your current knowledge.
Book a clinic now!!!
Either… You can come to
Dighton, Ks, bring your own horse (if you wish), and take advantage of
our own well trained horses.
Or… I can come to you.

My most amazing feedback

Thank you for the wonderful weekend. I would not have learned as much
as I did in my visit in a year full of 1 hr lessons. I will definitely
recommend you to others!

My horse Goose developed serious COPD issues (he’s 21 this year) and
has been effectively retired, but still my sweetheart. Very frustrated
as I’m feeling better and want to do things, but still on restricted
activities (although I was chasing loose horses 10 days after surgery,
buggers took apart a galvanized fence and went on an adventure,
probably due to boredom). I think of you, Hanna & Nick often,
would like to come back Sept-Oct if you’re up to clinics…can’t wait to
show you how well you’ve taught me, not to mention that I felt more at
home 3 days in KS than an entire lifetime in NJ !

When Goose became unrideable, I hopped on Fargo , my daughter’s
sensitive horse, despite her screaming “He’s going to kill you!” and he
was amazing….floating at all gaits, as responsive to cues, maybe more
so than I remember B’Dub was. Spent summer & fall riding often,
got all my ol’lady muscles into shape, dropped 20 lbs….OMG… now I have
to start all other this Spring! And I just can’t wait!
Photo of me on Fargo for the 1st time last October……He’s 17+ hands
& chubby (ah, the life of an overindulged NE horse!)
