History
Approx. 30 days riding as a two year old.
Turned out to Stud
Cut as a five year old, sent to me for Feedyard Training.
We had our battles, but right from the start I thought this
horse was a kids horse in the rough. He has never done anything to
change my mind.
He is well started as an enjoyable family mount, but will
need some experience at that job. I would, without hesitation, take him
on a parade, trail ride, pack trip, or anything else a horse family
might do. He's not a huge athlete, but a willing, working
pardner.
While he was the boss of a mare band, he cut his hock. This
blemish does not bother him, but it is noticable and
unsightly.
I had him in the feedyard for about 45 days, giving him
experience with all manner of machinery, cattle, intense situations and
tough conditions.
He was turned out again for about 30 days, then I took him
home to have him available to prospective buyers.
